The Common University Entrance Test, or CUET, is not a direct route to admission to a B.Tech program. The main purpose of CUET is to facilitate undergraduate admissions to central university programs in the arts, commerce, humanities, and social sciences. B.Tech (engineering) courses are not covered.

The majority of engineering institutes, including state and central universities, either administer their own entrance tests (such as JEE Main, JEE Advanced, and state-level engineering exams) or accept results from national exams for admission to B.Tech programs. Exams like JEE Main and other entrance exams particular to the institution yo

The CUET examination cut-off standard required to qualify for B.Com at Central University of Kerala - Trivandrum Campus generally accepts 300- 350 marks out of 600 for the general stream. For the OBC and EWS category, the cut off ranges in between 260-300 For the SC/ST category, candidate secures between 200-250.

Despite that, it is mostly true that there might be slight changes in the cutoff each year due to the number of students that apply and the number of seats available, and the students' performance in CUET. Students with higher score they are having more chances during the counseling and the seat allotment process.

Although both the institutions are one of the best institutions for preparing for IPMAT and CUET during 12th. But if we compare both of these, Pratham is slightly better than IMS. IMS is a well known institutions known specially for MBA and other competitive exams but the faculty of Pratham is slightly better. Although it depends on the personal decisions of the student and the decision should be taken after comparing all the factors such as fees, infrastructure and your convince also. Overall both the institutions are almost same only.

See,  for every year CUET, exam you need the OBC certficate, that is issued on or after 1 April, of that year.

For example you are going to give your CUET in the year 2024, so you OBC certificate should be issued on the date or after the 1 April, 2023

If you OBC or OBC-NCL certificate is issued before the above mentioned date then, that will be disqualified during documentation review, in councilling.

So, Ensure your certificate is current to avoid complications during counseling and admission.

All the best.

Yes, but that is institution-specific and dependent upon the institution and its admission requirements. Some universities or colleges conduct their own entrance exams, and some colleges or universities allow admission based on merit, interviews, etc. CUET is only for central universities in India, so it is not necessary for private universities, state universities, or for colleges that have their processes. You have to check for the course- and institution-specific eligibility and admission criteria, which you must contact with the relevant authorities or check out on their official website.
