DIT is constantly working towards developing a great aura for students that is extremely calm to get rid of a hectic study schedule. The university organises various activities such as Nukkad Nataks, various exhibitions, quiz competitions, plays and several fashion shows. DIT University BTech is a four-year course divided into eight semesters at the UG level. The UG-level course is offered across different specialisations. The university admits candidates to the BTech courses based on JEE scores/merit in Class 12.Some of the specialisations in which the course is offered are Computer Science Engineering, Information Technology,  Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, etc. The university also offers lateral entry to BTech courses.

The university total fee is cumulative of multiple components such as tuition fee, hostel fee, caution deposit, etc. Candidates have to pay some amount of the total fee at the time of admission for seat confirmation. Moreover, some of the fee components are one-time chargeable, while some have to be paid annually/semesterly. DIT University BTech fee tuition fee ranges between INR 3.9 lakh and INR 9.4 lakh. As per the School of Computing placement report, the placement rate recorded for the School was 62.3%. The highest and median package offered was 44 LPA and 6 LPA in 2024. 110 companies visited the campus as well. 

Yes, DIT University offers a two-year MBA programme. The course is divided into four semesters. DIT admit applicants based on scores of MAT/XAT/CAT/CMAT/UKSEE/DUET. Shortlisted candidates also have to go through group discussion and personal interview rounds. The university offers MBA (general) and MBA in FINTECH. The aspirants who fulfil the eligibility requirements can apply on the universitys' official website.

DIT University has released the mean package for the year 2024. The overall mean package in 2024 was 5.76 LPA. Also, the mean package recorded during SOET, SOC, School of Management and School of Pharmacy was 4.2 LPA, 6.26 LPA, 4.5 LPA and 3.2 LPA. 

DIT University was established in 1998 and is located in Dehradun. It is a private university and is approved by UGC,  Nepal Engineering Council, and AICTE and is a member of the Association of Indian Universities and the International Association of Universities. The university is ISO certified and has received the QS-IGAUGE ‘DIAMOND’ rating. Further, the DITU has been accredited with an A Grade by NAAC and has a cafeteria, mess facilities, hostel facility,  and others.

There are a total of 60 seats for the MBA programme at the DIT University. The university allot seats based on merit in the accepted entrance exams: MAT/XAT/CAT/CMAT/UKSEE/DUET. Candidates performance in the group discussion and personal interview round also plays a crucial round during selections. MBA is a two-year course offered in four major specialisations. A minimum of 50% aggregate through Class 10, Class 12 and graduation is required to apply for the MBA course. Candidates are required to fulfil the eligibility requirements and submit their proof of eligibility during the document verification round. Any candidate found ineligible during the verification process, will not be given admission.

DIT University course fee includes multiple components, such as hostel fee, caution money, tuition fee, etc. The one-time fee included in the BA fee structure is INR 15,000. In addition, the hostel charges range from INR 4.18 Lacs to INR 5.55 lakh and the tuition fee ranges between INR 1.8 Lacs and INR 2.4 lakh. BTech is a four-year course offered at the UG level in seven specialisations, namely Computer Science Engineering, Information Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil, Electronics & Communication and Petroleum Engineering.
