Candidates seeking admission to the B.Sc B.Ed.
The programme should have passed CBSE Senior Secondary examination/ Pre-University examination of Karnataka or an equivalent examination of Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Pondicherry or the UT of Lakshadweep with 45% marks in the aggregate. You can go for B.Ed. You can either go for a regular degree or correspondence. A lot of universities providing regular B.Ed ask for 1 or 2 years of work experience in the teaching field.

The minimum eligibility criterion for Diploma in education D.Ed courses has been reset to the higher secondary certificate (HSC). The government had recently announced that the eligibility criteria will be changed from HSC to graduation. However, for this year, the old criteria will be applied. Sorry to say, as per NCTE regulations HSC is mandatory to pursue D.Ed. Don't worry as you have work experience pursue HSC from NIOS later D.Ed, it will Hike you with handsome salary and eligible for CTET/TET exams. If you are determinate to pursue D.Ed follow this.

D.Ed: Eligibility
Listed below are the minimum criteria which candidates interested in pursuing the course are required to fulfil, in order to be eligible to apply for the course. Successful qualification of class XII from a recognized educational Board. Preferably, Humanities subjects as the main subjects of study at the 10+2 level, and a minimum aggregate score of 50% (45% for SC/ST/OBC candidates). The minimum age limit is 18 years and upper age limit is 36 years. It is relaxed by three years for OBC and five years for SC/ST candidates.

D.Ed stands for Diploma in Education. The eligibility criteria for pursuing D.Ed course:
'Candidate must have done 10+2 from a recognised board. You need to have minimum of 50% marks in 12th to apply for examination of D.Ed course.'
The minimum age limit is 18 years and upper age limit is 36 years. It is relaxed by three years for OBC and five years for SC/ST candidates.

Hello Chaitra,
Sorry to say, you are not eligible for D.Ed in anywhere and in distance mode education too. Because mandatory criteria is HSC with atleast 50 %. If you have a keen interest to become a teacher, go for NIOS HSC later D.Ed course. Or pursue B.E then B.Ed. All the best for your future.
