The completion of D.El.Ed in 2021 does not lead directly to a Physiotherapy career since this Diploma focuses on basic education training that concentrates on teaching. Physiotherapy follows different requirements than the profession that requires either a Bachelor's or Master's degree from BPT or MPT programs. Your professional background with children and knowledge of child development strengthens your qualifications for pediatric physiotherapy and occupational therapy although you must accomplish complementary education and training to enter either field.

Yes, with your B.Sc General degree and D.El.Ed course, you can pursue an M.Ed in the future, but you'll likely need to complete a B.Ed (Bachelor of Education) first, as M.Ed programs generally require a bachelor's degree in education.

The total tuition fees for the Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.) at the Government Teacher Training Institute is INR 30,000. This includes only the tuition fees, and other fees such as registration fees, mess, hostel, etc., are not included in this. It's recommended to verify the exact fee structure with the institute directly, as it can vary slightly depending on the current academic year and any applicable government regulations. If you are able to avail any scholarships, you can get some concession in the fees.

Yes! If you want a government teaching job, you must clear the CTET (Central Teacher Eligibility Test) or State TET (Teacher Eligibility Test).

  • If you want to teach students of Classes 1-5 (Primary Teacher – PRT)then you have Clear CTET Paper 1.
  • If you want to teach students of Classes 6-8 (Upper Primary – TGT) then you need to Clear CTET Paper 2 (after D.El.Ed + Graduation).
  • State TET exams like UPTET, Bihar TET, MP TET, etc. are mandatory for state government teaching jobs.
