Daulat Ram has name and fame only in this course. Daulat Ram is famous for B.Com course. IP is also one of the finest colleges of Delhi University. But the faculty members are the best in Daulat Ram College. So, I suggest you to go with Daulat Ram College.

No, Maths is not compulsory.
If you didn't study economics, but studied commerce stream, then there will be a deduction of 2.5% from your best of four marks.
Whereas, if you didn't study commerce in higher secondary, then there will be a deduction of 5% from the best of four.
So, in conclusion, Maths is not compulsory, but economics is.

The admission to MA in English in DU is conducted through entrance mode, so you will have to give entrance. Then, they will allot you a college as per your entrance performance. And if it is not so good, then you will not get admission in DU.
You are eligible for the entrance exam of MA in English because the minimum percentage required in graduation is 50% from any recognized university.
