Yes, at doctoral level, IGNTU offers a PhD programme in 18 specialisations. For seeking admission to any of these specialisations, candidates need to possess a master’s degree in relevant field. Eligible candidates are further called for an entrance test conducted by the University. Candidates with a valid CSIR NET/ UGC NET score are also preferred for admission.

Yes, weightage given to both the degrees is same. Students having Mumbai University’s IDOL degree are considered the same as a regular degree student. Another advantage of pursuing a course from MU’s IDOL is that students can complete their course along with their job simultaneously. The only thing that they need to do is stay in regular touch with the teachers or a guide through Personal Contact Programmes (PCP).
