No, a BTC is not equivalent to a B.Ed. Degree. The Basic Training Certificate (BTC) is an NCTE-recognised course for teacher training in elementary classes. The BTC makes candidates eligible to apply for primary teacher posts in government schools. On the other hand, the B.Ed. Is a degree course. With a B.Ed. Degree, you can apply for primary and upper primary teacher posts. B.Ed. Is mandatory for TGT and PGT posts in many government and private schools. You can take admission in BTC after 12th grade, but to take admission in the B.Ed. Degree, you need to have completed graduation.

You can pass either the TET or CTET to become a teacher after your postgraduate degree. The CTET is a central-level exam, and the TET is conducted by different states, for example, the UPTET exam. Both exams are conducted to certify the applicants to apply for government teaching posts. The minimum eligibility criteria for this exam is to have graduated with a B.Ed. Thus, you can apply for any of the exams for both the TGT and PRT posts. If you want suggestions, you are advised to appear for the CTET as its score will be valid in all states. You will also be eligible to apply for other teaching posts, such as KVS and NVS.

You can apply for a Master's course at TISS after completing your Bachelor's degree through distance learning. However, your university must be recognized by UGC. The minimum eligibility criteria for the master's course at TISS are as follows:

1. You should have a Bachelor's degree of at least 3 years or its equivalent.

2. Your degree must be from a university recognized by UGC.

3. Some courses may require you to have work experience. You also need to appear in the TISS entrance exam to get admission to some of the postgraduate courses offered by the university.

Yes this is allowed . In fact I would suggest you to take up an internship it will help you to build up your resume College can't stop you from participating in other activities. However it may affect your attendance. This may lead to fewer marks in your internals. If you want to take up a job or an internship you can, take a part time job or an internship so that it wont affect your classes. So that, your CGPA won't get affected.

It is a recognised board and has equal importance as same as other boards. You can apply and get admission in Bachelor's degree courses in regular colleges, even though you have completed 12th standard from Open school. Expect some top colleges, most of the colleges offers admissions, even if the students have done their 12th standard in open schools.
