No, there is no direct admission to the Institute of Human Behavior and Allied Sciences (IHBAS), University of Delhi. Admissions to courses like MD in Psychiatry, DM in Neurology, and M.Phil in Clinical Psychology are merit-based only and entail candidates qualifying on the basis of entrance tests like NEET PG or institute-level tests. There is not much information available, particularly regarding the hostel mess food quality at the Institute of Human Behavior and Allied Sciences, University of Delhi. Usually, mess facilities in institutions vary greatly with regard to hygiene, food quality, and service. Undercooked food, improper licensing, or poor sanitation have been reported in some other institutions, such as AIIMS and University of Hyderabad hostels. It would be recommended to inquire from present students or recent visits for true information on the quality of food at this particular institution.

The MD course at the Institute of Human Behavior and Allied Sciences (IHBAS), University of Delhi, is a great option as it specializes in Psychiatry, a highly specialised discipline. IHBAS is well known for its excellence in teaching and research in mental health and neurological sciences. The course is priced low, with the entire fee of INR 77,700 for three years, and provides a competitive learning environment with only 12 seats.
