It is unlikely that you will be able to acquire a seat in the top North Campus colleges, including their affiliated institutions, if you have a CUET score of 540 out of 1250. Most colleges have cutoffs of 750+, which means that it is unlikely for general category students to get a college with a score of under 750. No DU college conducts a separate entrance exam for B.Com (Hons.) admission. Admission is based only on your CUET-UG score + eligibility criteria + college preferences filled in the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) portal of DU.
- All admissions to UG programs in DU colleges, including B.Com (Hons.), are strictly based on the Common University Entrance Test - Undergraduate (CUET-UG).
This has been the rule since 2022, when DU replaced the merit-based (Class 12 marks) and college-specific exams with CUET.
