Hello learner , For B.Com Program & B.Com (Hons)

Total Seats

B.Com (Program)30 30 60

B.Com (Hons)60 60 120

Note: As a Sikh Minority Institution, 50% of seats in each course are reserved for Sikh candidates. There are no separate reservations for SC/ST/OBC/EWS categories.

You'll see 30 seats under the general (UR) category and 30 seats for the Minority (Sikh) category in the B.Com Program, making a total of 60 seats.

For the B.Com (Hons.) course, the college offers 60 UR seats and 60 Minority seats, totaling 120 seats.

The best subject combination in the commerce stream to be eligible for most courses at Delhi University (DU) and Banaras Hindu University (BHU) is:

  • Accountancy

  • Business Studies

  • Economics

  • Mathematics

  • English

Including Mathematics is important, as it opens eligibility for top courses like B.Com (Hons), BA (Hons) Economics, and BBA/BMS. Without Maths, your options get limited mainly to B.Com (Program) and a few general courses.
