Candidate must have completed graduation/masters securing at least 50% aggregate marks (45% for SC/ST/OBC).
Yes, you can pursue B.Ed without teaching experience.

Hi,Issuance of On-line Forms will start from June. Candidates having passed minimum three years Bachelor's Degree in any discipline from a recognized University with 50% marks (for General Category) and 45% marks (for Reserved Category) are eligible to apply.

I've got 45% in BA but haven't done any teacher training programme. I belong to SC category. Am I eligible to pursue B.Ed distance in JMI?

Hi,
Eligibility:
Candidate with at least 50% marks either in the Bachelor's degree and/or in the Master's degree in Sciences/Social Sciences/Commerce / Humanity and 45% for SC/ST.
Trained in-service teachers in elementary education;
Candidates who have completed a NCTE recognized teacher education program through face-to-face mode.
As you don't have teaching experience you can't apply.

Eligibility for regular B.Ed : The minimum qualification required forlor of Arts (B.A), Bachelor of Science (B.Sc. ) or Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com. ) form a recognised board/university with at least 50% marks. For B.Ed, you have to pass graduation with 60% marks. But, B.Ed is not correspondence course, so you have to join any regular University.

Dear Akanksha,
As per my knowledge, the UGC norms do not allow a student to pursue two academic degrees in one single year. Even if one is regular and the other from distance. Moreover, it is advisable to focus on one course at a time.

Well, you can't go two courses simultaneously with the same university and M.Sc with B.Ed will be too much heav, as they are considered as some ends of education in Science stream. So, I recommend you to go for either M.Sc or B.Ed. Don't go for both simultaneously.
