Eligibility Criteria for doing B.Ed is Pass with 50% aggregate marks in Bachelors Degree or Masters Degree in Sciences or Social Sciences or Humanities or Commerce or equivalent
or
Pass with 55% aggregate marks in B.Tech. Or B.E. With specialisation in Science and Mathematics or equivalent (Candidate must have studied the subject of the subject combination for at least three years at Bachelors Level or Masters Level)
5% relaxation for SC/ ST/ OBC and other categories as applicable. Some institutes conduct entrance exam where as in some institutes You can even apply directly for admission. A few good universities are: Delhi University,

Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU)- Rs. 50,000
Andhra University School of Distance Education-Rs. 35,000
Annamalai University School of Distance Education-

Admission to the distance mode B.Ed programme is merit-based. Candidates should have scored a minimum of 50% aggregate in the undergraduate programme in any discipline and55% in postgraduate programme. Along with this, candidates should have trained in-service teachers in elementary education or they must have completed a NCTE recognized teacher education programme through face-to-face mode. Candidates who have at least two years of teaching experience in primary or upper primary schools can also take up distance B.Ed course. Course fees : Rs. 40,000 to Rs. 50,000 (approximately).

Eligibility Criteria: Admission to the B.Ed course through distance education mode shall be open to the candidates:
i) Who have passed bachelor's degree examination in the faculty of Arts, Science, Social Sciences, Commerce, Medicine, Veterinary Science and Forestry conducted by the University of Jammu or an examination from any other University recognized as equivalent thereto.
ii) Who are serving as full time teachers in the recognized school (primary/secondary/higher secondary levels) within the territorial jurisdiction of the University of Jammu.
iii) Who have a minimum of 2 years teaching experience either at a stretch or in parts
