Eligibility Criteria for doing B.Ed is Pass with 50% aggregate marks in Bachelors Degree or Masters Degree in Sciences or Social Sciences or Humanities or Commerce or equivalent
or
Pass with 55% aggregate marks in B.Tech. Or B.E. With specialisation in Science and Mathematics or equivalent (Candidate must have studied the subject of the subject combination for at least three years at Bachelors Level or Masters Level)
5% relaxation for SC/ ST/ OBC and other categories as applicable. Some institutes conduct entrance exam where as in some institutes You can even apply directly for admission. Eligibility Criteria: Admission to the B.Ed course through distance education mode shall be open to the candidates:
i) Who have passed bachelor's degree examination in the faculty of Arts, Science, Social Sciences, Commerce, Medicine, Veterinary Science and Forestry conducted by the University of Jammu or an examination from any other University recognized as equivalent thereto.
ii) Who are serving as full time teachers in the recognized school (primary/secondary/higher secondary levels) within the territorial jurisdiction of the University of Jammu.
iii) Who have a minimum of 2 years teaching experience either at a stretch or in parts at the time of submission of application form for admission.
