Doing MBA after civil engineering is not worthwhile because you are diverting from your core qualification/business. After an MBA, one gets a job in that particular field only like Sales, Accounting, Retail, Banks, Insurance, Mutual Funds, etc. So in these sectors, engineering knowledge is not relevant. So, what was the use of doing engineering and spending the valuable four years into that? So, in my opinion, you have to start the searching for your job immediately, because in the next year thousand of civil engineers are in the queue for competition.
