According to my knowledge, it is not good enough for distance MBA. Below are some cons about distance MBA from NMIMS:
1. NMIMS holds a brand image for its regular courses but for distance learning it is just enchasing it's brand image.
2. As most of the students pay high prices for the PG Diploma courses, they find that the course are of too less value.
3. NMIMS does not provide a dual degree, so you cannot go for higher studies or for job in public sector.
4. Due to Objective question paper, the course has been made very easy for anyone to pass, hence it contains very less value in the industry.

Yes, you can apply for distance MBA/PGD programs without writing any entrance exam. The following are the few colleges offering the distance MBA programs as under.
1. NMIMS Global Access School for continuing education
Eligibility :- Bachelor's Degree in any discipline from any recognized University or an equivalent degree recognized by Association of Indian Universities (AIU) with minimum 50% marks at Graduation Level. Or less than 50% marks with two years of experience. Course Fee Rs. 76000/
2. Symbiosis center for distance learning (SCDL)
Eligibility: - Bachelor's degree holder / Graduate in any discipline from a recognized University.

Hi,
Distance MBA in marketing or any field fees always low like for example, if the fees for regular MBA is 50k, then in distance maximum it comes under 20k, and classes are conducted in weekend that is Saturday and Sunday.

Identify if your company has a tie-up with some reputed institution in India. If they have a tie-up with management institution like IIM,MDI,SP Jain or for insurance NIA. Please go ahead with that.
Also, you can contact NIA Pune as it is the top college for insurance.

The better option is regular MBA, but if you are working professional, distance education is better. Narsee Monji Institute of Management Studies School for Continuing Education, Sikkim Manipal University Directorate of Distance Education, ICFAI University and IGNOU are some universities.

Hello,
Many private college provide distance learning in MBA as compared to Government College. Government college prefer regular classes but many government college established IGNOU center so that student of far area can do course without coming to college. Private college such as Symbiosis Center for Distance Learning (SCDL) Pune, Sikkim Manipal College, Amity University, ICFAI University, Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS) and many more provide distance learning in MBA.
