The applicants must have at least 50% marks in Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in Arts, Science, and Commerce and Engineering streams in order to apply for distance B.Ed course.
Candidates who wish to take up distance B.Ed must be trained in-service teachers in elementary education.
Candidates who have completed teacher education programme recognized by NCTE in a face-to-face mode are also eligible to apply.
Candidates who have at least two years of teaching experience in primary or upper primary schools can also take up distance B.Ed course.

1. NMIMS holds a brand image for its regular courses but for distance learning it is just enchasing it's brand image.
2. As most of the students pay high prices for the PG Diploma courses, they find that the course are of too less value.
3. NMIMS does not provide a dual degree, so you cannot go for higher studies or for job in public sector.
4. Due to Objective question paper, the course has been made very easy for anyone to pass, hence it contains very less value in the industry.
