But surely it is one of the best colleges in chennai considering the variety in the courses it offers. there are other good colleges like VIT Chennai and ofcourse IIT Madras but they are not in main city and also only offers a handful of  streams in courses which are  B.Tech and Buisness. but Dr MGR Educational and Research Institute provides many sorts of courses including MBBS BA etc.
