The programme is of three years duration with an exit option after two years with a B.Ed degree. Those who join the course with a Bachelors degree are eligible for TGT positions and those with Masters degree are eligible to become teacher educators/PGT positions. The programme integrates additional coursework leading to a specialisation other than teacher education in Pedagogic and Curriculum studies, ICT and New Media, or Policy and Research. B.Sc. B.Ed. Is a four year integrated programme which aims at integrating general studies in sciences and professional studies in education. It provides a wide knowledge base for becoming an elementary and secondary school teacher. In simple terms, it is a teacher training programme. Candidates who manage to pass this course are eligible to teach at Secondary and Senior Secondary levels in Indian schooling system. In order to get a job, they must crack relevant aptitude tests though. B.Sc. B.Ed. Course has been crafted keeping the needs of 12th Science stream pass students in mind. Essentially, it is a teachers training programme. You can fill forms for taking admission into the various colleges.
