Hi, if you are pursuing a Bachelor's degree in geography, an M.A. In geography would be a better option than an M.A. You can pass NET to become a researcher or academic scholar in geography. The following are some of the colleges that offer an M.A. In Geography in West Bengal:
1. Calcutta University
2. West Bengal State University
3. Vidyasagar University
4. Seacom Skills University
5. Panskura Banamali College
If you want to do an MBA course, the following are some colleges in Durgapur where you can apply for an MBA with a CAT CMAT or MAT score:
1. NIT Durgapur
2. NSHM Business School
3. Aryabhatta Institute of Engineering and Management

NSHM or BC Roy. But I prefer NSHM cause it was a management college where BC Roy is an Engineering college.

No this not mandatory. But for attendance, they give you some marks which is going add in your semester result. But yes, if you have some real reason, I don't think they will mind.

SKS Educational and Social Trust founded Bengal College of Engineering and Technology, a self-supporting college, in Durgapur in 2001.
