Possess a Bachelor's degree with at least 55% aggregate (50% for SC/ ST/ PwD category candidates) or equivalent CGPA. Candidate must have passed Bachelor's degree from a recognised University with Chemistry for three years/six semesters. Minimum Educational Qualification for engineering graduates/students should be treated as removed for this programme and these candidates will be admitted based on their JAM rank only.

Yes, he can do but he'll struggle for Maths as he didn't know calculation of economics required at higher level and at that point, he'll have to start Maths from basics which will be more hectic for him. But he can take economics and Statistics in UG which will help him as Statistics is little bit easy than Maths according to my experience.

Aap far as I know you can do but like dse, jnu that famous are having eligibility criteria for Maths. But like Mumbai University and IGNOU doesn't require but it's my advice to you take Maths economics and Statistics in Bachelors it'll give you more scope than only 6 papers theory of economics. Do hardwork in Bachelor's with Maths you'll find your ways easier when you go for higher studies or any entrance exam or any job interview test. That will help you a lot. Good luck.
