Yes, there is a minimum percentage requirement for BBA at GIBS Bangalore. The eligibility is generally 50% and above in the qualifying examination.
As for subjects, you don't need to have studied some very specific subject in 12th to choose BBA. Students from different streams can consider BBA as long as they meet the eligibility criteria.
I did my studies at GIBS, and I'd say the admission requirement is pretty straightforward. If you have 50% or above and have completed 12th, GIBS is definitely an option you can look at.

Yes, GIBS Bangalore does give good support for students interested in startups and entrepreneurship.
I completed my PGDM at GIBS, and entrepreneurship was not treated as just another theory subject. GIBS has its IRE – Innovation, Research and Entrepreneurship programme, where students work on ideas, business plans, projects and get guidance through workshops and expert sessions.
There are also sessions with founders, entrepreneurs and industry people, which is useful if you're thinking about starting something of your own.
So if you're interested in starting a business or simply want to understand entrepreneurship better, GIBS is a good

I completed my studies at GIBS Bangalore, so I can share this from my experience.
GIBS offers international exposure through global immersion programmes and international study tours. Students can get opportunities to visit places such as Singapore, Malaysia and Dubai, depending on the programme and batch. These visits can include company visits, workshops and interactions that give you a better idea of how business works outside India.
GIBS also has international academic collaborations, which adds to the global learning experience.
For me, it was nice because the exposure wasn't limited to textbooks—we got to see different business en

I can only speak from my own experience, but one thing I genuinely liked about GIBS Bangalore was that I never felt like I was just another student in the classroom.
The faculty knew us, encouraged us to participate, and pushed us to take part in different activities. Whether it was presenting ideas, attending industry sessions, working on projects, or participating in events, there was always something happening that helped us learn beyond textbooks.
I also liked that students from different backgrounds got opportunities to explore their interests instead of following the same routine every day.
For me, that's what made GIBS different. I

If you're planning to apply for BBA at GIBS Bangalore, don't wait until the last minute.
As per the latest admission updates, the application deadline for the current admission cycle is July 31, 2026, though colleges can sometimes extend dates depending on seat availability.
Based on my experience, I'd suggest applying as early as possible. It gives you enough time to complete the admission process, submit your documents, and avoid any last-minute rush. If you're interested in GIBS, I'd recommend applying soon rather than waiting for the final date.
