For most professional and degree‑level courses (like B.Sc, B.Tech, Allied Health, Forensic Science, Biotechnology, etc.) you cannot take admission directly after Class 10. The minimum eligibility is completion of Class 12 (10+2) with required subjects (Science/Commerce/Arts depending on the course).

After Class 10 – What You Can Do

  • You can apply for PUC/Intermediate/Junior College (Class 11–12) in Science, Commerce, or Arts streams.
  • Some diploma programs (Polytechnic, Nursing, Paramedical, Hotel Management) allow admission after Class 10.
  • Degree courses like B.Sc, B.Com, BA, B.Tech require 10+2 completion.

Yes, there is an application fee for GIBS admissions, but it is not very high.

  • For PGDM/MBA, the application fee is around ₹900–₹1000
  • For BBA (UG), it is around ₹600–₹800
  • It is just a registration/application fee, not admission confirmation
  • You still have to go through eligibility check, interview, and final selection
  • The process is simple and smooth for both UG and PG

Overall, the application fee is just a basic step to start your admission process at GIBS.

You don't strictly need CAT to get into GIBS Business School. They accept both CAT and MAT scores, but even if you haven't appeared for them, you can still get admission through their direct admission or interview process.

  • CAT → accepted, helps in selection

  • MAT → also accepted, gives another option

  • No exam → possible through interview or direct admission

  • Focus on communication, confidence, and overall profile

In short, GIBS is flexible. You can join even without CAT or MAT if you perform well in the selection process.

At the GIBS Business School, placement preparation starts early on, not just in the last year of school. The school places strong emphasis on continual training so that when students do get placed there is sufficient training at the time the actual placements take place.

  • Starting from the first year: Students receive training during the first trimester through programs such as the Finishing School (CPMP) program.
  • Continuous skill development: Throughout the entire course, students receive continuous skill development with respect to aptitude, communication, resume writing, and both group discussion (GD) and interview skills.

The assessment methods at GIBS Business School are different from the typical assessment methods of writing tests. Instead, the institute uses practical and continuous evaluation techniques for measuring students' actual abilities and readiness to work in the industry.

Assessment Methods Other Than Written Tests

  • Students completing 'live' projects and internships will be assessed on their actual work with a company and how they performed in that work.
  • Students will have to give presentations and participate in seminars to demonstrate their ability to communicate effectively, their level of confidence, and how well they understand the subj

International Institute of Sports Management and Education does not release the final CAT cutoff publicly and is only accessible through account login to those candidates who appear in the CAT exam. Hence, the available cutoff table below is based on previous years' trends and the actual cutoffs might vary.

Considering the previous record, the CAT cutoff percentile was 25 for admission to the MBA/PGDM course for the General AI category students.
