The answer to this question depends on your preference. Ask yourself what you want and you will get your answer. My advice would be to choose ECE as ECE graduates are quite in demand currently.

Hello Dharmesh,
Basically, it depends on your aim and interest if you want to continue your studies then go for master degrees like M.Sc. MS, M.Tech, etc. Its depends on your financial status also. Or if you want to do job then try for some government companies like GAIL, BHEL or you can go with it sector jobs.

You can pursue evening classes to complete your graduation in engineering. There are various colleges that provide such courses for working professionals. Don't opt for Distance or Correspondence courses in Engineering. They don't have AICTEs approval.

It is not about your college it's about your passion in engineering if you have your passion in engineering than every college proof a milestone. Just focus on the questions what else you would able to do if you change your institution. And do your best in the college where you get admission. Nowadays, electronic education is everywhere but no one give you passion. Just start your journey with passion.

Admission through DET Exam is conducted by Haryana or direct through management seats.
Admissions under Management Seats:
25 % seats of the sanctioned Intake in all the branches is reserved for Management seats. Admission for these seats will be done by the counseling at the Institute level.
Admission in the institute is done in accordance with the provision and guidelines laid down by the competent authority of the Government of Haryana from time to time.

Each branch is good. Both of them have good placement records and scope too but as per my point of view, you should choose courses as per your interest.

Most of the universities don't consider your marks or CGPA. And let me be clear, based on your percentage scholarships will be decided. So, try to consider it and plan your studies.

I think it will be difficult for you to get admission in our college (Jalpaiguri Government Engineering College) with this rank. I'm not even sure about you getting any government college.
