Both Chandigarh University (CU) and Lovely Professional University (LPU) are known for engineering, but if we think of Electrical Engineering, LPU appears better in many ways. As a student, I personally feel that LPU has a very practical approach to learning. Their labs are state of the art, and well-resourced, and I find that the faculty usually support us to work on real-time projects, which build confidence to take on challenges in industry. The university brings many industry professionals for guest lecturers, and have affiliations with top companies in the world, so this gives students a greater opportunity for internships and pla

Electrical Engineering at Chandigarh University is quite promising. The department has modern labs like Power Systems, Digital Signal Processing, Power Electronics, and more, which help you actually build and test things, not just read about them. The curriculum is updated with electives so you can specialize in areas like Energy Systems or Instrumentation if that interests you. The Department of Career Planning and Development (DCPD) does a decent job setting up internships and helping with interview prep, so you get exposure before you graduate. The campus life is active, the classrooms are decent, and there are good peer groups to l

Electrical Engineering at Chandigarh University is honestly a good choice if you're serious about both core engineering and future technologies. The programme is accredited by NBA and ABET, which means it's recognised globally. What I liked most is the flexibility – you can pick specializations like Power Systems, Energy Systems, Electric Vehicles, or Control & Instrumentation. On top of that, CU gives you a chance to study AI as a minor and even earn Microsoft certifications like Azure AI Fundamentals. The labs are well-equipped, and there's even a HARTEK Innovation Lab for sustainability. With workshops,

Chandigarh University's electrical engineering department puts a lot of effort into preparing students for placements. The classes are backed by practical work in labs, and we also get guidance on projects that reflect real-world problems. When it comes to placements, the training begins early, which makes a big difference. The university has tie-ups with many companies, so every year recruiters from industries like manufacturing, power, electronics, and even IT come for hiring. Some of the well-known names include Bosch, High Radius, Reliance, Vardhman, and Rockman Industries. From what I've seen, most students manage to get placed be

The DCPD team provides continuous support through mock interviews, resume building, and career mentoring, which really helps students perform well in placements.
