Hello dear,
On the basis of ITI, you can take admission in Diploma 2nd year through lateral entry. Admission process in different colleges are started in month of May-June-July. So, by applying form you can take admission on merit base. Good luck.

Hello Devang,
You are actually saying too many things. Firstly, you are saying you are preparing for government service. Secondly you are saying that you are interested in doing MBA. The third thing that you are asking is are you eligible for B.Tech by distance mode? Now if you are preparing for government service or if you are interested in doing MBA then you must be graduate of some discipline. Knowing the present situation where in more than 50 % of fresh engineers are jobless, I would strongly advise you not to go for B tech in distance mode at all. Hello Soumyadeep,It is very nice to know your interest in GIS and Remote Sensing. These are the two areas which are going to have huge job potential in the future. GIS even presently has an unfulfilled requirement of plenty of jobs. Remote Sensing is of course the technology of the future. This is bound to be used in almost every sphere of our life. Be it knowing the green cover, or knowing the status of any project or be it finding out what is happening on the surface of this planet. In India, no university is offering B.Tech or BE degrees in engineering and technology. This type degrees in distance education has banned by government of India. Up to 2009 JNTU Hyderabad, Andhra university Visakhapatnam Nagarjuna university Guntur Karnataka university Mysore,and IGNOU New Delhi offered this type degrees. and AMIE of institution of engineers Calcutta also offer this type. In this AMIE is only recognized by government of India and no other university in India having the recognition by HRD ministry.
So, please note no university recognized by government of India and UGC. But, this matter is under the consideration of UGC

Mainly, all the IITs and PSUs conducts the GD and PI for the electrical engineering, as this is the only way to get to know about the candidate and his/her confidence level.
