Eligibility Criteria for B.E/B.Tech
Eligible candidates for B.E/B.Tech at Rao Bahadur Y Mahabaleswarappa Engineering College (RYMEC) are as follows:

Qualification : Candidate must have passed 10+2 with Physics, Mathematics and third subject either Chemistry/Biology/Computer Science.
Minimum Marks: Minimum aggregate of 45% marks in Physics, Mathematics and the third subject (40% for reserved category students).
Entrance Exam: Karnataka Common Entrance Test, KCET is the major entrance examination for entry. COMEDK UGET has to be taken for management quota seats.
Age Bar: Candidates should be 17 years old or more at the time of admission.

For B.E./B.Tech at PEC, Pondicherry Engineering College the eligibility criteria include 10+2 in PCM (40 % for SC/ST), at least 45 % aggregate. Admission is through a valid score in JEE Main with 50 % weightage, +2 marks 30 % weightage and Normalized marks in PCM with 20 % weightage. For lateral entry, it is required to be above 45 % aggregate (diploma) along with a valid JEE Main score. 480 seats: 360 for JEE Main, 120 for lateral entry, 15% for All India quota, 25% for management quota, 5% for NRI quota; Application fee Rs 500-1,000; Reservation norms as applicable by Puducherry government.

To be eligible for the B.E. / B.Tech programs at M.P. Nachimuthu M. Jaganathan Engineering College (MPNMJ), Students must meet the following criteria:

Candidates are selected on the basis of their performance in the HSC (+2) examination conducted by the state and through counselling (TNEA) conducted by Anna university Chennai, selected candidates are allotted to various colleges for admission. The admission process is very easy and simple in our college. Minimum cutoff marks must be above 150 for the CSE ECE EEE department and above 100 for other departments.
