You should meet the minimum marks requirements. For diploma courses, you must have at least 50% marks in your Class 10 board exams, especially in the Science and Mathematics subjects. For UG Telecom courses, you should have at least 50 to 60% marks in Class 12 in the PCM subjects.
For PG, you should have done BTech in ECE, Telecommunication Engineering, or a relevant field with at least 55 to 60% marks. Talking about PhD degree, you should have completed your PG course in a relevant field with 55% marks.

For studying the BTech Automobile Engineering course at popular colleges in India, you should have at least 50 to 60% marks in Class 12 board exams in the PCM subjects. This is the basic eligibility which can differ from one college to another.

Also, you have to give relevant entrance tests and get very good marks in the same so that you can get a seat at some decent Automobile Engineering college as the cutoffs are usually very high. The basic eligibility for most of the colleges is to have at least 60% marks in the PCM subjects in Class 12 and a score of 50% in English. Also, medical fitness is an important part of the eligibility for this course. You should be in the best of your health and have good eye vision without any issue of color blindness as per the rules of the maritime industry.

To be eligible for the BTech in SRM TRP Engineering College candidates must atleast have a minimum 50% marks in aggregate in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry as prescribed by the Govt of Tamil Nadu. Also, the actual cutoff percentage required for admission to get into SRM TRP Engineering College changes from year to year and depends on the branch of engineering you want to study.

There is no particular rule when it comes to the age requirements for pursuing Instrumentation courses in India, but generally, it is seen that students who opt for a BTech degree in Instrumentation Engineering are mostly between 17 and 23 years old at the time of taking admission. For PG courses, they are usually between 23 and 27 years.
