The following are the essential eligibility requirements for pursuing a Computer Science Engineering course at the undergraduate and graduate levels:

  • BTech in CSE applicants must have taken the Class 12 exam from a recognised board with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as core subjects.
  • Candidates must also have a minimum aggregate mark of 60% in the above subjects combined.
  • MTech in CSE eligibility requirements: Applicants must have completed a BTech degree in the same specialisation with a passing percentage.

The eligibility criteria for the BTech courses may differ from college to college. However, the basic eligibility criteria for BTech admission in best engineering colleges in Trichy are as follows:

  • Candidates must have earned a passing grade in Physics,  Chemistry, and Mathematics in the Class 12 exam with a minimum of 60% marks from a recognised board. 
  • For admissions, candidates must take standard entrance exams like JEE Main, TNEA,  and other university-specific entrance exams in addition to their Class 12 results.
