Civil engineering is still a fruitful option with several construction companies and metro rail corporations emerging. In public sector there are opportunities for civil engineers in academics, PWDs, public health engineering and water authority and irrigation departments. Entrepreneurial opportunities are limitless. If you are talking about tuition fee of INR 5 lakh then Hindustan University and SRM stand at the top followed by SASTRA University.

The annual fees at IIT is Rs.2 lakhs.

Normally, the fee structure does not include hostel fees since many students make their own arrangements. Hence, you can assume that information to be pertaining to tuition fees.

B.Tech or BE from India is preferred as you can apply to government jobs. If you have no plans of doing it, you may pursue it from Australia or any other country of your choice. Another point to keep in mind is the cost. The cost at IITs, NITs and IIITs is always cheaper than the private universities and placements are better too.

You can try top private engineering colleges in India where admission does not depend upon the JEE Mains score. These engineering colleges conduct their own exams. You can get admission by cracking these exams but please see the last date for filling up the forms because by now some colleges have stopped the filling the forms.
