IIITDM Jabalpur offers a two-year M.Tech course at the postgraduate level. IIITDM Jabalpur admission to the MTech course usually starts in the month of March-April after the GATE exam result declaration. The final selection is based on the GATE scores followed by CCMT counselling. The centralised CCMT counselling process for offering admission to M.Tech is done through online mode. Selected candidates have to further report at the institute to complete formalities for admission confirmation.

The tuition fees for M.Tech courses at IIITDM Jabalpur is INR 2.2 lakh and the tuition fees for M.Tech at NIT Pune starts from the range of INR 1.4 Lacs to INR 6.3 lakh. It is tough to compare which institute is easier to get admission into for M.Tech courses among IIIT Pune and IIITDM Jabalpur because the M.Tech admission process for all IIITs is almost the same, in which candidates are required to complete their BTech/ BE degree from recognised institute/ university, with a minimum of 60-75% and then candidates have to appear for the GATE entrance examination, followed by CCMT counselling.
Additionally, the number of M.Tech seats offered at IIIT Pune is 24, whereas at IIITDM Jabalpur it is 110. Hence, there could be a possibility that the institute with a lesser number of seats has tough com
