NIT Puducherry offers various specialisations under its M.Tech programme. Some of the specialisations are Mtech in Computer Science Engineering, Electircal VLSI Design, and more. For all the specialisations, the institute offers an equal number of seats, i.e., 10. Combining all, the institute offers 70 seats for the M.Tech programme.

NIT Puducherry has defined its seat reservation policy for admission to its M.Tech programme. The instutute has reserved a only 3 seats for admission of SC/ST category students to its M.Tech courses. Moreover, these three seats are reserved only under certain specialisations. Check out the below table to know the department wise seat matix for reservation of SC/ST candidates:

NIT Puducherry offers a total of 70 seats for the M.Tech programme. These seats are distributed across various specialisations offered under this course. The specialisation wise distribution is as follows:

Yes, DMI Engineering College is a good college for BTech programme as it offers AICTE-approved courses to students in full-time mode. It is a Christian Minority Institution of Higher Technical Education and is managed by Sisters of DMI, founded in 1984. DMIEC offers a wide range of Degree programmes at the UG level, mainly in the Engineering stream. The most popular programme offered at the college is BTech. See, with 87% in 12th, and 77%lie in JEE Mains you have fairly good chance to get CSE in privite Engg. colleges, but will be quite hard to get in any of the government colleges.
Few of the colleges that you can consider, those give admission based on the 12th percentage are:
- Maharishi Markandeshwar (Deemed to be University)
- Jaypee University of Information Technology (JUIT) in Solan
- SAGE University
- Assam Down Town University
- Symbiosis University of Applied Sciences

The COMEDK UGET cutoff for Sri Venkateshwara College of Engineering (SVCE) for the year 2024 is as follows:
B.E. in Civil Engineering: 40,772

NIT Puducherry accpets GATE exam scores for admission to its M.Tech courses. As per official sources, the exam was held from Feb 1 to Feb 16, 2025. Moreover, the results for GATE 2025 were released in the month of March. The results were made available on the official website of the exam.

The application portal for NIT Puducherry M.Tech is closed for 2024-25 admissions. The admission portal for the next academic year i.e., 2025-2026 is expected to open in the begining of 2025. Moroever, the institute has not yet announced the admission cycle for the next year. Thus, the last that to apply is not available as of now.
