For the civil engineering aspirants, who are looking for the top colleges in Kolkata or West Bengal, I would suggest the University of Engineering & Management (UEM Kolkata). The university was established in the year 2014 and since then it has offered world-class education and has given industry-ready engineers to the corporate world. Also, many reputed companies visit the campus every year to hire students at lucrative offers. Placements are really great. You just need to maintain grades (min 60%-70% or 6.0- 7 CGPA ), CU is really good for CSE students as the placement for each and every students they give the opportunity with some rules that are bit disappointing, but if you crack the interview in any of the companies which aren't soo tough you can easily get placed.
