This is so since due to lack of opportunities in placements very few students opt for this branch. Hence be assured that if you have all the required criterias prescribed then you will get this branch.

I believe, The one thing in which we engineers are fantastic is multi- tasking. We can be an engineer (+ psychiatrist /civil servant /CDs officers /entrepreneur/teacher /professors/ scientist and whatever field you can think of. So, you can do it !
You can take Diploma in psychiatric medicine or to be a psychiatrist you have to get a Bachelor's degree with specialisation in psychiatry.
