Dear Dhivesh, NIT Jalandhar, LPU, and Thapar are good public & private institutes, But being alumni of LPU, I can share the details of B.Tech in ECE at LPU. LPU provides very good opportunities to all the students of the EEE/ECE department. There are some facts that you would also like about the School of Electronics and Electrical Engineering in LPU. Placements: LPU has a good placement record for EEE/ECE students. Every year more than 500+ companies including national and multinational companies visit LPU for placement. A few of them are BOSCH, Microsoft, Code Nation, Adobe, etc. In which students of EEE/ECE are placed. The highest package offered for the ECE programme at LPU is 31 LPA and the average package is 5.1 LPA. Faculty: All faculty members are well qualified from IITs, NITs, and top-ranked universities all over the world. Hands-on Practical: Students who study EEE/ECE from LPU get an opportunity to do practical work in their field more than theoretical as LPU has Robotics and Automation lab, Bosch Lab and other workshops conducted by this department such as Robotics workshop, Labview workshop and many more. Specialisation Offered in EEE/ECE: Power Electronics, Power Systems, Renewable Energy, DSP, Robotics And Automation, VLSI, and many more which helps to do more research in their field. Research: All the faculty members are really helpful for all aspects whether it is academics or any other. Many students have published research papers and patents in International Journal and Conferences. Infrastructure: All the facilities are available on the campus itself, a student does not need to go outside for anything. Dear Jasmine, in my opinion, you should have a minimum of 60% marks in the 12th class to get admission to various programmes in engineering at LPU. LPU offers engineering in various programmes such as CSE, EE, ECE, ME, CE, Automobile, Chemical, Aerospace, Biotechnology, etc. LPU offers engineering in Diploma, B.Tech, M.Tech, and Ph.D. I recommended my cousin to do B.Tech from LPU itself. Good Placement: Every year more than 500+ companies including national and multinational companies visit LPU for placement. A few of them are Microsoft, Amazon, Adobe, etc. In which they are placed. The maximum package availed for the Engineering programme is 42 LPA till now. Scholarships: LPU provides very good scholarships to bright students with good academic records, sports, or extracurricular activities achievement. LPU also helps students in the Education loan facility. Faculty: All faculty members are well qualified from IITs, NITs, Iims, and top-ranked universities all over the world. Infrastructure: All the facilities are available on the campus itself, a student does not need to go outside for anything.
