Dear Aakash, It won't affect but your university should be UGC recognised. For instance, LPU Punjab is not approved by AICTE but recognised by UGC and provides a valid degree. LPU is recognised by the University Grant Commission (UGC), the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), and the Council of Architecture (COA) and approved by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI). It is also a member of the Association of Indian Universities (AIU). Internationally, LPU is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Business School and Programs (ACBSP) and a member of the Association of Commonwealth Universities (ACU). The college was establi

Mechanical Engineering provides a broad foundation in all aspects of mechanical design: mechanics, power, control, and manufacturing. Mechatronics Engineering emphasizes the design of electro-mechanical devices ranging from large-scale automated manufacturing systems to micro-scale sensors and instrumentation.

Mechanical engineer can bag a placement in a core field if he is clear with his subject knowledge and a little know how of industries which you gain while working on internshipsOff campus Placements- It's not an easy task. Equip yourselves with some Network, develop some soft skills, negotiating skills and get ready for a rough ride. Normally, Core companies don't really have a lateral hiring structure. It is really hard to get into it. Especially for CSE it is extremely hard. If you are okay with civil you could get seat in matrusri and mvsr colleges. Cbit might be a tough competition to get in. Good luck!
