If you are India, after studying Electronics and communication engineering most of the students gets job/work in IT companies. Only few percent gets chance in electronics companies. So I would suggest, better to study Computer Science engineering. If you want to sail through vast sea go with Marine engineering. LPU is good for a B.Tech in Petroleum Engineering. If you opt for the course, you will get to learn in one of the best academic environments in the university. The four year course consists of 8 semesters and is a relatively unexplored field of engineering. Chandigarh university has NAAC A+ accreditation with diaomnd rating. Recent rank of CU is also 52 in NIRF rating for overall India. CU is good option due to placement records. Google, microsoft like companies are coming for recruitment.
