As per the last year of trends in consideration, your JEE Main All India category rank should be below 3482 for getting admission in NIT Calicut in B.Tech CSE. So you have to score above 99.5 percentile in JEE Main.

Hello Siddhant, employers recruit candidates as per requirement and both the types mentioned by you are recruited. But it is never one at the cost of the other. Both have distinct roles and employers choose students accordingly. Best wishes to you.

Hello, it's actually a shakespearean dilemma! To be or not to be! Taking a gap of one year for preparation of entrance examination or not taking it. Both have prose and cons. I personally feel that it's not great even if you loose one year, but it can make difference if you study well and achieve outstanding results as a result of this gap. But I leave the choice to you. Best wishes to you.

Hello Piyush, it's very heartening to know that you still have the spark to study even after 25 years of work experience. But I am afraid that these days no professional course including engineering can be offered online buy any university in India and as a result you cannot think of doing graduation in chemical engineering by distance education mode. However you can do AMIE which is equivalent to graduation in engineering for all practical purposes. Best wishes to you.

Hello Gourav Yadav, it's actually very tough to predict the percentile since for calculating this one needs to know the total number of students who appeared for the examination along with their marks and also the highest and the lowest marks scored by students in this examination. This will be known only to National testing agency. However shikshan has come out with rank predictor which I am attaching that can predict your rank based on the inputs that you provide. https://www.shiksha.com/marketing/Marketing/form/pageID/3051?t_source=paid&utm_source=google&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=Engineering_pexam_SN_Mob_india&gclid=Cj0KCQiAvvKBBh

Hello, these days the ranking of JEE Mains is not decided on marks scored but is decided by the percentile that you will get. Hence raw marks have list their importance. As far as ranking is concerned you need to be in top bracket to get admission in your desired branch of CSE. You can Google to find out different cutoffs at various NIT's. Best wishes to you.
