In case of B.Sc. Nautical Science in Tolani Maritime Institute (TMI), there is no fixed cut-off mark in TMISAT but there is an overall procedure of selection. This will include a good mark in the TMISAT (an online test of TMI wherein there are Parts of Physics, Math, Intelligence and Personality which is said to have approximately 27 marks as the passing mark), it will also require the IMU CET qualification to have a good rank, and good Class 12th PCM marks (60% in PCM and 50% English). Personal Interview is also conducted to the candidates and they should be medically fit by DGS standards. All these are used to determine the final adm

In order to crack AEEE without coaching, one still needs a good understanding of Class 11 th and 12 th NCERTs in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. To go along with the textbooks, reference books such as H.C. Verma, O.P. Tandon, and R.D. Sharma should be used to study Physics, Chemistry, and Math respectively and since these are high-scoring topics, sufficient practice with the previous year papers and the online mock tests can have an impact as well. Prepare a proper schedule of studying and prepare yourself with clarity of concepts, and continuously revise the course that carry high marks like Calculus, Modern Physics and Organic Ch

Whereas competitive entrance-based route of admission to B.Tech (through JEE Main), is the mainstream method to get admission to the best government-owned institutes (IITs, NITs), but direct through Class 11th/12th marks-based admissions prevail in most of the university, institutes that belong to the private sector and a few government-owned institutes (deemed-to-be) universities. Since you have 74.2 (both matriculation and intermediate), you are the eligible candidate to get into many of such institutions. Government engineering colleges in India, including IITs, NITs, and IIITs, are highly sought after due to their affordable fees (ranging from INR 50,000 to 10 Lacs for the full course), high academic standards, and strong placement records. Admission is primarily through national-level entrance exams like JEE Main and JEE Advanced, or state-level exams. They offer diverse specializations, robust infrastructure, and often provide scholarships. Prominent examples include IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, NIT Trichy, and Jadavpur University.

With a JEE Mains open category rank of 31,000, getting into top NITs or IIITs for core branches is tough, but admission is possible in lower-ranked NITs, newer IIITs, and several GFTIs for non-core branches or through the home state quota. You also have good chances in your state government engineering colleges via state counseling. Being flexible with branch and location will improve your chances.

Admission to the Institute of Engineering and Technology (IET) Lucknow B.Tech CSE program can be done via CUET UG, yes. IET Lucknow is taking results on both JEE Main and CUET UG. This will be done through UPTAC (Uttar Pradesh Technical Admission Counselling) in which the seats will be given according to your CUET UG score.

JEE Main is a common entrance exam used to find admission to most of the leading engineering colleges in Maharashtra to pursue B.Tech. Important ones are Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology (VNIT) Nagpur, Institute of Chemical Technology (ICT) Mumbai, and COEP Technological University formerly College of Engineering Pune. Ranks in JEE Main are also factored (mostly along with the MHT CET scores) by other notable colleges such as VJTI Mumbai, Army Institute of Technology (AIT) Pune, GH Raisoni College of Engineering Nagpur and other institutes under Dr. D.Y. Patil.

Islamiah Institute of Technology mostly gives admission B.E. CSE based on Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) and COMEDK UGET. Whereas some resources refer to JEE main, it is primarily a state quota seat institution in Karnataka. So chances of you being able to walk in and get somehow admitted with your AP EAMCET score are slim because that is an Andhra Pradesh state level exam. You would also be required to meet their specific admission requirements which in most cases put more importance on KCET ranks.
