If you have been declared pass in ISC 12th board exam despite failing in an optional subject like Maths then you do not need to appear for compartment exams. ISC board follows a process of awarding grace marks or moderation in case a student has failed in any one of the subjects but has scored the required passing marks overall. This is called the Compartmental Scheme. No, usually the board does not make any changes in the released time table unless something comes up that requires a change in the time table of the compartment exam. For 2026 too, the board is not expected to make any changes in the BSEB Matric compartment time table 2026. BSEB class 10 compartment exams 2026 are expected to be held in May 2026. In case of any change made by the board, we will notify the same on this page.

Hi buddy, Well, if you get less than 33 in any subject you have to give compartmental exam. But this is only applicable for the student who get less than 33 in any one or almost three subjects. If you get less than 33 in 4 or more subjects then you have to repeat class 11 again. Hope this helps!
