Yes, definitely. You can appear for two compartment papers in class 12th. CBSE allows reappearing for improvement papers for upto two subjects. A candidate placed in compartment can re-appear in July/August in the same year. He/She may also avail 2nd chance in February /March/April next year and may further avail 3rd chance at the compartment exam to be held in month of July of that year.

Yes, you can take both the compartment and improvement exams in the same year of particular board of examination. However, you will need to meet the eligibility requirements for each tests independently. Compartment is permitted in just one topic, although improvement tests can be taken in two. The compartment examinations allow students to retake exams if they are pronounced failed without losing a session (same year). The improvement exam is for students who declared a pass but are dissatisfied with their results. As a result, several boards allow students to take a re-exam on a single subject without losing a session.

Students who failed one or two subjects in the CBSE board exams in 2024 will be obliged to retake the exams to save their academic year. The crucial point is that students who have failed three or more subjects are ineligible for the compartment exams. On June 7, 2024, the Central Board of Secondary Education announced the CBSE 10th and 12th compartment test dates in PDF format. Yes, you can still get in to a regular courses like BCA even if you take compartment exams. Many colleges and universities will accept a student who has taken compartment examinations as long as they meet the prerequisites for the course. With the CBSE compartment exam, students who do not pass the CBSE test in 2024 will have another opportunity to succeed. Partial exam participation can preserve a student's academic year. You don't need to apply for both the forms.
Since you have got a compartment you are requested to repeat the test and no improvement form need to be submitted.
You just apply for RT that is enough because you need to clear the compartment and then if you clear so you can go for improvement in next year.

To get admission in UPES, there are some eligibility criteria which are to be met. For B.Tech programs, UPES requires candidates to have passed their 10+2 board exams with a minimum percentage in subjects like Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. If you have a compartment (supplementary exam) in your Mathematics board exam, it means you have not cleared all your subjects in the first attempt. However, UPES allows students to take compartment exams and clear the subject to meet the eligibility criteria. You need to pass the compartment exam in Mathematics to fulfill the eligibility criteria to get admission in UPES.
