Hi Shadab,
Most colleges have a different provision for admission. You need to contact the institute officials personally for specific admission details as it differs from one college to another.
I hope this information helps. Please feel free to revert.
Wish you luck.

Hello Neeraj, In order to get admission in FMS, you will have to give CAT exam. On the basis of the percentile you score in CAT, you will be called for the further rounds which are extempore and PI. A cumulative merit list is prepared on the basis of your marks in these 3 things and final admissions are offered to those who qualify. Also, your percentage is graduation has no such link to secure admission in FMS. You should meet the eligibility criteria and the required cutoff. All the best.

Hello Ayushi,
FMS is consistently ranked amongst the top 5 Bschools across the country by many newspapers and magazines. In the rest, its ranked amongst the top 10. It might not be there in one or two places because of some other unknown reasons.

Hello Harsh,
In order to take admission in a top rank MBA college, I would suggest you to give CAT, as almost all the premier Bschools offer admission on the basis of your CAT score. Other exams like XAT, NMAT, IIFT, SNAP should also be considered. These should be your first priority. You can also give CMAT and MAT but they don't cover many top rank MBA colleges.

Hello Mishika,
To get admission into FMS you will have to give only CAT exam. Admissions are not offered on the basis of MAT.
For MAT, there are other colleges which offer admission. You can check that on the internet. I am not the best person to answer about the MAT affiliated colleges.

Hello.
The cutoff for admission to MBA programme 2016 is composite score of 35.091 for SC category candidates. The Composite Score has been computed by giving weightage of 40%, 30%, and 30% to the scores of VRC, DI/LR, and QA Sections respectively as provided by the CAT Centre for the CAT 2015 Examination for candidates who registered with FMS. For example: Composite Score = ?(Score in Section * Weightage)/Max Marks for the Section

Hello Nikhil,
As of now, FMS gives weightage to only your CAT score and not to your past academic scores. Thus, any person who will score a percentile of 99+ and if that meets the cutoff, he/she will get the shortlist. Last year as well the cutoff was 98.54 percentile, thus scoring 99 will work a lot in your favour. All the best.

Hello,
Talking about placements, every company coming to the campus will look at your past academic scores as well to shortlist you. Thus, it might be a problem for you during the placements process. However, there are certain other companies as well which look on other things such as extra curricular achievements or the amount and quality of knowledge you have in your area of specialisation. Also,if you have any work experience,or if you have done any live projects for some companies,it can be of help for you during placements.
