Dear Aspirant,
For admission to MBA Full Time Programme at FMS, candidates have to apply for the programme and take CAT (Common Admission Test) conducted by IIMs. Based on the cat score and the category, candidate will be shortlisted for Interview round. The final selection criteria will have weightage for the CAT score, extempore speech and Personal Interview.

Dear Hemlata,
Last year, the cut-off for SC category stood at 78.71. Hence, looking at the past trends, the chances are pretty low.

Dear Ravi,
Academic scores and work experience don't have weightages at FMS. The selection criterion is purely based on CAT score, extempore speech and Personal Interview.
Hope this helps!

Dear Suraj,
The Extempore round is to gauge your on-feet thinking ability. You will be expected to speak for 60 seconds on a given topic. The Personal Interview will focus on gauging your intent towards pursuing an MBA, clarity towards career goal and thought process. We would suggest you to prepare keeping these in mind.
Hope this helps!

IN DSM almost all the clubs are student driven. College gives ample opportunities to every student to develop managerial skills. At this point of time I can not tell you about the pass out colleges of our faculty members, all what I can tell you is that all faculty members are NET qualified and are highly experienced in their respective fields.

Yes you have decent chances. The cut off for general for last year was around 79 percentile. The cut off for this year will depend on the number of applications the college receives. All the best!

Guide-Level 11

In IIM's or FMS, CAT score is given preference and high weightage. So if you get a good percentile in CAT then definitely, you are going to get a call. All you have to take care is to score at least 50+% in graduation to meet the eligibility criteria of these institutes.
All the best.
