In order to get a call for FMS you will have to give the CAT entrance exam. Then on the basis of the percentile you score you will be getting a call for the further rounds. If you haven't given CAT this year, then later this year give the CAT exam and also register for FMS whenever the forms are released.

As per the last year, the cut-off was around 5000 AIR in BK. So I would say the chances are 70% this year. Baroda FMS's cutoff is the second highest after BKSBM in Gujarat. So if you miss BK by some numbers, you'll definitely get in FMS Baroda.
Thank you.

You should carry all the marksheets along with you and hand over whichever marksheet they ask at the time of PI.

Google visited the campus last year for the first time for recruting MBA students. However, this year Google didn't turn up. However, we expect its participation for the placements of 2015-17 batch and for the future batches coming into FMS.

The Composite Score has been computed by giving weightage of 40%, 30%, and 30% to the
scores of VRC, DI/LR, and QA Sections respectively as provided by the CAT Centre for the CAT
2015 Examination for candidates who registered with FMS. For example:
Composite Score = ?(Score in Section * Weightage)/Max Marks for the Section

Your background, be it engineering or non-engineering won't play much difference in your placement. At FMS, you learn a plenty of new skills and gain vast knowledge on various business domains like marketing, finance, operations, etc. Google will also come for people who have the required skills in all such domains and if you have those skills, it doesn't matter you are an engineer or not.
