Few MNCs, consulting and investment banking firms hires graduates during campus placement from legacy IIMs for onsite jobs, but such job offers are very less. MBA finance graduates from top B-Schools can easily get job abroad after few years of experience.

Both marketing and finance are good options for engineers. One must chose MBA specialization based on own interests, educational background, prior job experience and personality, skills and competencies. Individuals with good numerical ability can do well in the field of finance particularly investment banking. Marketing is suitable for extroverts.

If you are joining through MAT, there is no quota. Quota is applicable only if you join through TANCET in whose selection PSG has no role. PSG accepts scores above 600 but selection will also depend on your performance in GDPI round. Fee would be higher if you join through MAT. The specialization is usually chosen only after your 3rd semester. You can opt it then. Hope my answer helps you.
