NSB offers MBA from Mysore University. This is state government university and is classified as university with potential for excellence by UGC.
Placement for Finance is good. Most of the placements are in Banking and Consulting areas. Many students are also placed in insurance, risk management and analyst positions. Most of them who took good jobs are in Ernst and Young, Deutsche Bank, India Bulls, and Thomson Reuters.

Hi,
Yes, engineering students can go for MBA in finance. As finance do have inclusion of mathematics and engineers do find it comfortable with some initial hiccups in accounting. Finance includes subjects like corporate finance, taxation, costing which are real life implications with analytical and reasoning, hence easy to understand for engineers. Also, a new course financial engineering is being offered in some B-schools which is having combination of finance + mathematics and engineers do find it easy, especially who are interested in mathematics.

General finance is best option, you can also look for streams like wealth management , financial engineering, risk and credit management.
