Hello Avijit,First of all congratulations on your selection in AIM.Both marketing and finance is good option in terms of placement.But in AIM marketing is better option in terms of placements because most companies comes with marketing profile as compare to finance profile.

I dont have any idea about jims but FIIB brings various finance companies for placements. college brings you many opportunities for placements and will get you good companies. it is you who will have to prove you in college as well as organization.You can consider it for PGDM

The average for finance people is Rs 4.5-5 lacs and the process is GD & PI

Hello sanke , Our college ASM IBMR having good placement available in all the specialization. if we consider the finance around 4.5 average is been calculated yet , if we compare with marketing marketing have more placement opportunities then finance, so you get a good opportunities but if beyond that our college also conducting the job fairs in our campus in every 3 months which is very beneficial for the students. many companies will recruits the students. you can prefer this side to see our placements in all specialization n prospectus of our college ASM IBMR. http://www.asmibmr.edu.in/placements.htm hope your query has been solved.

PGDM is giving you the current condition of the market you can gather upgraded knowledge but MBA is giving you the theoretical knowledge.Both are fruitful for you but for surviving in the market you can choose PGDM.
