Yes, Galgotias University provides good internship opportunities from the second year onwards, especially for students in B.Tech CSE and its specializations. Students who actively build their skills and maintain a good academic record generally have access to more opportunities.

Some highlights include:

  • Summer internships after the second year: Many students apply for internships during the summer break through the university's Career Planning & Development Division (CPDD), company drives, and off-campus platforms. The university also documents internship and project work across departments as part of its academic ecosystem.

If you're comparing private universities in NCR for B.Tech CSE, Galgotias University is definitely a strong option, especially if your priorities are placements, coding opportunities, and overall return on investment.

Some of the reasons it stands out are:

  • Strong placement ecosystem: The university reports thousands of placement offers every year, with 1,200+ recruiters visiting the campus. Companies like Microsoft, Amazon, Accenture, Cognizant, Infosys, Capgemini, HCLTech, and many others recruit from the university.
  • Industry-focused CSE curriculum: Students can choose specializations in AI & ML, Data Science, Cyber Security, IoT, Full S

With a CRL of 1,68,244 and an EWS rank of 23,697, you have a reasonable chance of getting B.Tech Artificial Intelligence at Galgotias College of Engineering and Technology, especially in the later rounds of UPTAC counselling if cutoffs remain close to previous trends. No one can guarantee a seat because cutoffs change every year depending on the number of applicants and seat availability, but your chances look fairly positive.

I'd still recommend filling AI along with CSE specializations like AI & ML, Data Science, and Cyber Security to improve your chances of getting a good branch.

If you're talking only about MBA seats, then Dev Bhoomi Uttarakhand University has more. It offers around 240 seats, while Galgotias College of Engineering and Technology has 180 seats. So, if seat availability is your main concern, Dev Bhoomi gives you a slightly better chance of getting admission.

If you're just comparing the number of B.Tech seats, then KIET Group of Institutions has a slightly higher intake. It offers around 1,530 seats, while Galgotias College of Engineering and Technology has around 1,380 seats (though recent updates show the sanctioned intake has increased). So, purely in terms of seat availability, KIET gives you a slightly better chance of getting admission.

If you're comparing only the number of MBA/PGDM seats, Accurate Group of Institutions has more. It offers around 300 MBA/PGDM seats, while Galgotias College of Engineering and Technology offers 180 seats for its regular MBA program. So, getting a seat is generally easier at Accurate because of the higher intake.

Lingaya's Vidyapeeth provides significantly more MBA/PGDM seats than Galgotias College of Engineering and Technology (about 1,340 vs 180), so your chances of getting admission are higher at Lingaya's.

For placements, GCET generally has an edge over NIU due to its stronger recruiter base and more consistent placement record, especially for CSE and IT branches.
