GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering) is primarily conducted for various engineering disciplines and Science subjects related to engineering. GATE Biotechnology (GATE BT) is the relevant GATE exam for students from the Biotechnology background.

Biotechnology students are eligible to appear for the GATE BT exam. It allows them to pursue higher studies in biotechnology, apply for research programs, or seek employment opportunities in related fields.

It's essential to keep in mind that GATE exam eligibility criteria and subjects might change over time. I recommend checking the official GATE website or the information brochure for the

No, a 3-year BSc Computer Science degree from IDOL Mumbai University's distance education programme is not eligible for GATE CS Exam. You won't be eligible for GATE CS Exam with just a BSc degree. Only final year or passed out students of BTech, BE, M.Sc and MCA are eligible to apply.

However, you can prepare and get MSc CA or MCA from a good college/university now. After that, you will be eligible to apply for GATE CS.

NIT Arunachal Pradesh course admissions are based on merit and scores of entrance examinations. The accepted entrance exams for admission to undergraduate courses are JEE Main and DASA UG. The accepted entrance exams for admission to postgraduate courses are GATE, CCMT, IIT JAM, and others. So if there is a non-GATE candidate then admission is possible but for either BTech or MSc programmes and not for MTech. For more information please click here.

As we know, admission to the M.Tech programmes offered at NITs, IIITs, and CFTIs is done via CCMT counselling based on GATE scores. The conducting body for CCMT counselling changes every year. After the announcement of the organising body, candidates can check the result of the seat allotment on the official website.

The CCMT eligibility is mentioned below: - Candidates must have a valid GATE score - A minimum of 6.5 CGPA or 60% marks must be acquired in the qualifying exam (For General and OBC). -

For SC/ST/PwD category candidates, the eligibility is set at a minimum of 6.0 CGPA or 55% marks.

Students applying for GATE 2024 can opt for two subject papers from the prescribed set of combinations. Earlier, the candidates could apply to appear in only one subject. As a candidate is allowed to appear in only two papers (only approved set) of the 29 papers for which the GATE 2024 will be conducted, they have to carefully make a choice of the papers they wish to write. A candidate is expected to appear in the papers appropriate to the discipline of his or her qualifying degree. However, he or she is free to choose any paper according to his or her admission plan, keeping in mind the GATE eligibility criteria of the institutions in
