Try to score above 40% in GATE exam. Below 40, chances are very less in good branch in IIT or other government / private colleges.

You will qualify the GATE exam but the score will be quite low.

You have to score good marks in GATE exam then only you can get admission in any good college for M.Tech as you have scored less, you can take one more chance, prepare well and take GATE exam again next year so that you can score good marks.

If it is government recognized, then there no issue. I find its recognised by the GOI, so there won't be any issue.

As you are in a final year of M.Sc. You can eligible to apply for GATE 2020 !
