The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) does not release the exact topic-wise weightgae of NEET MDS exam. Moreover, the past year NEET MDS question papers are also not released by NBE. Hence, the exact makrs or weightage prediction is difficult. The cutoff trend for MS at Government Medical College, Chandrapur has been decreasing in the recent years. In 2022, the closing rank for MS under general category for all India quota was 12365. In 2023, it decreased to 11352. Likewise, the cut off ranks have changed from 32116 to 45266 for SC. This trend is likely to continue in the coming years, as the demand for engineering education in India continues to grow. Similar cut off trend can be seen for female candidates under all categories however the ranks are slightly different.

Opening and Closing rank depends on the category and quota of candidates. For NEET PG Round 1 cutoff 2023, the opening rank was 11352 and closing rank was 11352 for the general category candidates under All India quota. Cut off are different when it comes to other categories or female candidates and even domicile of home state. Admission to MS in General Surgery in Government Medical College, Chandrapur is based on the scores obtained in the NEET PG entrance exam. Applicants are advised to confirm what category are they applying while checking for cut offs.
