Bank PO exam:
Probationary officer is the entry level position in the officer cadre in banking industry. PO's have a good career path in banks.
The eligibility criteria to take Bank exams:
Nationality: India
1. Public/ Regional Rural Sector Banks:
PO - A degree in any discipline from a recognized University or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government.
Clerical - A degree in any discipline from a recognized University or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government.
2. SBI and SBI Associate Banks:
PO - A degree in any discipline from a recognized University or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government.
Clerical - Minimum 12th Standard (10 + 2) or equivalent qualification thereof with a minimum of 60% marks.
There are some relaxation for some reserved category as well.
Age limit:
A. Public Sector Banks:
PO - 20 to 30 years
Clerical - 20 to 28 years
B. Regional Rural Banks :
For Officer Scale- III - Below 40 years
For Officer Scale- II- Above 21 years and below 32 years
For Officer Scale- I - Above 18 years and below 28 years
For Office Assistant -Between 18 years and 28 years
C. SBI and SBI Associate Banks:
PO -21 to 30 years
Clerical - 18 to 28 years
Computer Literacy:
Some banks insist that the candidate should posses working knowledge of computers before joining the bank.

Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) conducts various exams for recruiting eligible candidates to the different vacancies available in the railway sector. Candidates who want to become a railway engine driver should qualify the concerned exam conducted by Railway Recruitment Board (RRB). Notification of the railway engine driver exam will be published on the newspaper or the concerned website. Candidates should read that notification before applying for the exam. Those who have qualified the railway engine driver exam will be first given the post of diesel or electric locomotive assistant driver. After getting much experience in the concerned field, one can get promotion to the post of railway engine driver.
Candidates who have completed tenth standard can write the exam conducted for recruiting candidates to the railway engine driver post. Age limit specified for such candidates is between eighteen years and thirty years. Candidates who are applying for the railway engine driver exam should also complete ITI course in any specified trade.
