Here are some of the books based on topper's advises for banking examination preparation: 

Word power made easy (Norman Lewis) 

English by KD publication

CAT Quant book by Arun Sharma 

There are many other books as well however, these three are most recommended by toppers . Apart from these students should also ensure that they read newspaper regularly to be updated about current affairs.

First, understand the syllabus & pattern properly, then start from the basics and then practice as many questions as possible. At last attempt mock tests to check your level of preparation. Hi, Surely, You can prepare for banking after your B.Com. I'm currently doing my Certification in Investment Banking (CIBOP) at Imarticus Learning in Mumbai. Where we are learning about complex financial products and their Trade Lifecycles, along with an Operational Risk and Regulations. It's only a 2 months programme and they're going to provide placement assistance too so I think Ill comfortably get a good job and be where I want to be in Investment Banking in a few months.
